Ff7 for pc on vista

The second one was another "Black Screen" I guess you would call it. It's where after a FMV plays, and after it ends, it''s suppose to show your characters, but instead shows nothing. Well, it can be avoided by pressing the menu at the first available point hopefully you'll be able to do that.

When first arriving at the gold saucer, the screen will go black, and after hitting the menu, you'll be able to get your screen back.

Unfortunately, a glitch prevents you from leaving If you don't have the gil, you're stuck until you quit the game. Incidentally, when you get past the first entering of the Gold Saucer, and come back to ride the elevator, it won't glitch, and you'll be able to go back and forth as you please I'll keep everyone informed on any more problems, hopefully bringing solutions.

Steele 13 years ago 6. Thank you! Yeah, unfortunately, there are a lot of bugs I'm compiling a list of them as I play the game, and after I have finished, I'll submit them all. I've met about on disc 1, and only 1 on disc 2 so far I'll keep everyone updated. While I'm at it, I'll go ahead and post the problems on disc 1 that I ran into. Unfortunately, because of the polygon interaction is off, the platform will go back up, but the game will assume you are on the lower section.

There's nothing that can be done about this. This only happens this one time, the rest will be fine. Once it's open, start FF7 again. You should hear a noise. To make sure it worked, go to the orbitarium where Bugenhemin is, and see if he says something different. If he does, then that part was bypassed, and you can continue with the game. Start FF7, and do as you should; talk to the Trolly man, go rest in the hotel, and after Tifa talks to you and you enter the theatre right after that guy says "You are our 'th couple!

Special thanks to the people on the forum "Qhimm" for informing me about most of this stuff. I have more updates! Problems I ran into in Disc 1 that are basically major.

Note, that these are the only problems I ran into. I heard many have had their game crash at Junon when Weapon attacks, but thankfully, no such thing happened for me. It might of been because the movies that it uses are on my harddrive no, I'm not using the Ultima Edition.

You can copy the movie files to a folder, and change the registry of FF7 using regedit to have it read them from the hard drive Unfortunately, the winds won't die down, resulting in you literally waiting for hours, only to realize they will never die down. Looking for help. After over an hour I finally got my game to work. I followed these previously posted instructions: First : Install your FF7 Game Uncheck the Yamaha, the directx and the directshow cases and choose the Maximum install.

Follow the steps until the end. Second : When installed, apply : 1. So no sub folders, other files, etc. Simple so far, right? Now, repeat with play disks 2 and 3. A LOT of the files are going to be the same, so either hit "yes to all" when asked to overwrite, or just find the files you don't already have and just copy those. I suggest the former, though, as missing only one file will cause your game to stop at a possibly critical juncture. Note also that there's more than just movies in the movies folder.

Make sure these files make it to your HD, as well! Okay, that was all basic stuff. NOW we need to tell your computer and FF7. This is where things get a liiiiiitttttle techy. Click "Start", and "Run". Type "regedit" in the little box that pops up and hit "OK". A llllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg list will be exposed. Scroll down to the folder called "Square Soft, Inc. CLICK it dont expand!

A bunch of values will appear in the big area on the right. At the bottom of this list should be an item named "MoviePath". VLC Media Player. MacX YouTube Downloader. Microsoft Office YTD Video Downloader. Adobe Photoshop CC. VirtualDJ Avast Free Security. WhatsApp Messenger. Talking Tom Cat. Clash of Clans. Subway Surfers. TubeMate 3. I have played this on PSX quite a few years ago, but I do remember that the Opening movis is pretty long- so it could be playing?

Hey i dl'd all the stuff posted, loaded it up and it froze on the video that plays at cosmo canyon the whole "shooting star". Log In Sign Up. Here's how! Metosinn 13 years ago Any ideas? Nevermind- uninstalled it, and tried again, and it worked fine. I am having a problem. I have this installed on my laptop running Windows Vista, and it runs great, but when I put the laptop patch in the FFVII folder and run the game it doesn't work.
