Just about everything shown in an HijackThis log is important to proper operation of your computer. Can you tell us how much RAM you have in your system? I see a few minor things in your log that could be fixed, but could you first post a new one please?

That one didn't come out right for some reason and is a bit hard to read And will be hard to reply to. Here is the new copy of the log. I did find out that it was a program called Ringtone Ripper that was causing the black lines. That problem went away when I uninstalled it. But I do still have the slow shut down problem and hanging program.
