Eset smart security virus signature database update failed

Press F5 to open the Advanced Setup window. Deselect the check box next to Enable Self-defense. If not, you are finished and can re-enable Self-defense. Your ESET security product will alert you that a computer restart is required. I tried manual updating several times, nothing. I am using Windows 7 bit. Smart Security version 6. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options My laptop also does not update. It is stuck at ESET same version, Windows 8 bit. Can somebody please get back to me on this, so I know for sure what's causing this?

Posted September 24, Hi, My ESET Smart Security says that "virus signature database is out of date" but when I try to update it holds for like 2 seconds and says "update is not necessary" even though my ESET is still red saying it's out of date.
